COLLEGE COACH WEEK
CLUB TEAM INFO
DECEMBER 15-17, 2025
-
College Coach Week, operated by SwimCasa and hosted by participating Affiliate Club teams, is a one-of-a-kind recruiting event that brings college swim coaches directly onto the pool deck to connect with Denver-area athletes, parents, and coaches.
For three days, college programs from across the country visit practices, meet families, and engage with swimmers in a relaxed, familiar environment. It’s a rare opportunity — few club teams anywhere get this level of access or exposure without traveling out of state.
The impact can be enormous. These visits spark confidence, accountability, and growth in athletes of every age. Younger swimmers are challenged to introduce themselves, speak with confidence, and engage in unfamiliar conversations — developing maturity and life skills long before most of their peers will need them.
Beyond recruiting, College Coach Week builds community. It helps families understand the college process, gives coaches valuable connections, and reminds athletes that their hard work is being seen.
-
College Coach Week runs December 15–17, 2025, and includes a mix of on-deck practice visits, college-fair-style meet-and-greets, and networking events hosted by SwimCasa Affiliate Club teams.
Throughout the week, college coaches will rotate between club practices, observing training sessions and connecting with athletes, families, and staff. These visits create multiple opportunities for meaningful interaction — both structured and spontaneous — right within each team’s normal environment.
Athletes are encouraged to be proactive: introduce yourself to visiting coaches, make eye contact, and ask questions when appropriate. These are low-stakes opportunities to practice confidence and communication in familiar surroundings.
Parents are encouraged to attend the post-practice meet-and-greets to learn more about college swimming, understand what coaches value, and build perspective on the recruiting process.
Club coaches are invited to attend the afternoon Coach Socials, designed for relationship-building and professional collaboration, while both parents and club coaches are invited to the evening dinners that conclude each day’s activities. These dinners are informal gatherings to strengthen relationships and build a more connected swimming community. (Athletes do not attend dinners.)
